London Brass is Britain's best known and most active professional brass ensemble, whose membership of ten players is drawn from distinguished soloists and principal players of London's symphony and chamber orchestras. Live performances have taken London Brass across the world, from the Far East, across Europe to North America, while at home there is an equally large audience for its recordings, television and radio performances. London brass have always taken a keen interest in young players, giving masterclasses and recitals in schools and colleges both in Britain and abroad. At the 'Festivals of Brass Ensembles' and residential courses young brass from around the country are able to meet together to perform under the guidance of members of London Brass. The 'London Brass Series' is designed to provide a wide ranging repertoire for groups of all standards, much of which will have been recorded by this unique group of players.
